  1. Work Window Australia Pty Ltd ABN 79 630 053 744 (Work Window) helps provide educators, students, and job seekers insight into the world of work, through virtual reality experiences so they can make more informed career decisions.

  2. So that we can provide the best service to our valued customers (including their students or clients), it is often necessary for us to collect, use, and disclose personal information. We recognise that the information disclosed to us can be very personal and private, and we are committed to respecting the privacy of persons that engage with us, our platforms, and our services. We respect the privacy rights of all individuals, and we are committed to ensuring that our directors, managers, employees, and contractors comply at all times with the requirements of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (the Privacy Act) and any other privacy legislation that applies in jurisdictions where we carry on business. Our Privacy Policy sets out how we collect, use, store and disclose your personal information.

What personal information Work Window collects

  1. Personal information includes information or an opinion about an individual that is reasonably identifiable.

    2. you request a quote for any of our products and/or submit an offer to purchase any of our products;

    3. you use and access the Website or any of our official social media pages.

  3. Work Window Camp may collect the following types of personal information:

    5. age or date of birth;

    6. bank account details;

    7. licence details;

Work Window takes reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference and loss, as well as unauthorised access, modification or disclosure and we use a number of physical, administrative, personnel and technical measures to protect your personal information. However, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information.

  5. The personal information that we collect from you is stored in Australia. However, if we are required to transfer any personal information outside Australia in order to store it or to provide our services to you, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that your personal information is subject to appropriate safeguards.

  1. The Website and our platforms may contain links to websites operated by third parties. Those links are provided for convenience only and may not remain current or be maintained. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Work Window is not responsible for the privacy practices of, or any content on, those linked websites, and have no control over or rights in those linked websites. The privacy policies that apply to those other websites may differ substantially from our Privacy Policy, so we encourage individuals to read them before using those websites.

 

Accessing and/or correcting personal information

  1. You can access the personal information Work Window holds about you by contacting Work Window via email cam@workwindow.com.au. Sometimes, we may not be able to provide you with access to all of your personal information and, where this is the case, we will tell you why. We may also need to verify your identity when you request your personal information. Upon written request, Work Window will delete all personal information after the end of the provision of the services. 

  2. If you think that any personal information we hold about you is inaccurate, please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to ensure that it is corrected.

  3. If you think Work Window has breached the Privacy Act, or you wish to make a complaint about the way Work Window has handled your personal information, you can contact Work Window via email cam@workwindow.com.au. Please include your name, email address and/or telephone number and clearly describe your complaint. We will acknowledge your complaint and respond to you regarding your complaint within a reasonable period of time. If you think that Work Window has failed to resolve the complaint satisfactorily, Work Window will provide you with information about the further steps you can take.

  4. If you have a complaint about our compliance with the Privacy Act and we have not resolved your complaint within 30 days’ after you first notified us of your complaint, you can refer your complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner by visiting their site http://www.oaic.gov.au/.
